For almost one hundred years, Kiekens Products, through its own marketing department, has been supplying tried-and-tested fans to a very wide range of industrial sectors and for a variety of applications, with short delivery times and at competitive prices. Thanks to our many years of experience and continuous research programmes, Kiekens Products is able to offer a range of certified high-quality products for both high-vacuum and low-vacuum applications. Industrial fans

Kiekens Products offers a wide range of industrial fans. Thanks to their solid steel plate construction, our fans offer high operational reliability levels and require a minimum of maintenance. The modular structure, based on standardised components, guarantees a very high degree of versatility in terms of fan model and design. Our range of industrial fans includes the following models:

1. Clean air and polluted air fans
	A range of centrifugal fans suitable for low and medium-pressure applications, specially designed for the maintenance of over and/or underpressure. These fans can be used for combustion air supply, ventilation, vapour exhaust, odour exhaust, etc. One special feature of the fans in this range is that the volume flow can be adjusted back to zero without pump effects. Fans for polluted air applications are provided with straight radially ending blades which keep them free from dirt particles, making them suitable for media polluted with, for example, short-fibred materials and powders. 2. Exhaust fans
	The main feature of these fans are the straight blades without a front plate, which makes them suitable for extracting wires, sticky products, chips, shreds etc. On request, these fans can be fitted with inlet cutters, allowing them to serve as "cutting fans" or "choppers".
3. High-pressure fans
	This type of fan is especially suitable for air exhaust functions at relative over or underpressure. The standard version with an aluminium impeller (type HK) can only be used for clean air applications. In cases of dust load, a steel impeller with straight blades can be mounted (type HC). 4. Turbo exhausters
	Turbo exhausters are compact, multi-stage centrifugal fans with 3, 5 or 7 impellers on a single axis. They are particularly suitable for air treatment installations with a relatively low air output, combined with over or underpressure up to 36,000 Pa. Turbo exhausters can be used for central extraction systems, pneumatic transport systems, liquid aeration, vacuum lift installations, industrial dust extractors, blow-drying systems, fluid-bed systems, etc. These fans are only suitable for clean air applications (possibly with an inlet filter and low inlet temperatures), and are frequently used in our industrial dust extractors. brochure
5. Axial flow fans
	The axial flow fans are available in wall-mounted, roof-mounted and built-in models. They are intended for clean air applications and offer high capacity in relatively low pressure situations. Axial flow fans are available in direct driven or belt-driven models, and optionally in heat resistant materials, for use in tunnels, covered car parks, flue exhaust systems etc. Kiekens also supplies Sodeca axial flow and centrifugal fans.

All the fans mentioned above are available with the following optional accessories and components:

• Absolute inlet filters (AFK and FK casings)
• Flexible connections on inlet and outlet
• Vibration isolators
• Access panel (for cleaning or inspection)
• Mufflers on inlet and outlet, both cylindrical and wing-type silencers
• Insulation of the fan casing, or placement of fans in acoustic casings to reduce noise levels
• Special drive systems, in addition to the well-known coupling and vee-belt drive, to approximately 630 kW
• Special surface treatments
• Corrosion and wear resistant materials, such as stainless steel, manganese steel, etc.
• Explosion-reducing models according to ATEX Directive guidelines
• Gas-tight models
• Heat-resistance up to approximately 800°C
• Inlet rotation control (inlet vane)
• Venturi tube and/or orifice plate
• Frequency control or muliple speed motor.

Companies such as Shell, Esso (API standard) etc. have come to recognise Kiekens Products as the ideal partner for the project-based settlement of requests and orders, with due regard for their specific reqirements. 	Our fans can be delivered with an ATEX certificate in accordance with ATEX regulations, for both gas (zones 1 and 2) and dust (zones 21 and 22).
	Our fans meet all the "Ex" safety standards in force throughout Europe for applications in potentially explosive environments.

Depending on the specific application, ATEX-certified fans are available in stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel and coated steel.
The material combinations used are consistent with the EN 14986 standard.

For zone 0 (gas) and zone 20 (dust) we suggest finding a different location for the fan in view of the considerable explosion risk and the high investment required. However, special fans for use in zone 0 are available on request.

Since 1907, in addition to designing, engineering and manufacturing our own "Kiekens" fans, we have also run our own service department, which offers the following range:

• Bearer condition measurements and vibration tests/analyses for fans (failures and condition-dependent maintenance)
• Balancing impellers and rotors in the widest sense, on our fixed workbench in our Almelo factory and on site, according to European standards (ISO 14694-2003, class G 6.3 or higher)
• Overhauling fans, axial controls and related products on site or, if necessary, in our own factory in Almelo
• Ball bearing lubrication and assembly advice/instructions for your maintenance department
• Supply of complete fans and parts, both Kiekens and other brands (model-based reproduction of impellers or complete fan systems no longer easily available on the market)
• Preparation of various measurement or maintenance contracts (preventive maintenance)
• Ad hoc price and lead time agreements for the overhaul of multiple fans during a factory break
• All our service engineers are VCA 1 certified
• Our company is ISO 9001-2008 certified
• Minimum response times in case of failures and short lead times for products from our Almelo factory (in consultation).
