The Dustmaster dedusting systems have a dual purpose. On the one hand, efficient dedusting is an important condition for smooth process management in many companies. On the other hand, the Dustmaster helps improve a very important aspect of the modern manufacturing process: health, both your employees' and your own. Kiekens dedusting systems are particularly suitable for applications in the wood, metal, plastic, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Low-vacuum dedusting and filtration technologies
The Dustmaster range offers the perfect solution wherever there is a need for (simultaneous) dust extraction in one or multiple locations, or for the removal of hazardous dust from work spaces.
- Basic and complex systems for air volumes from 500 to 50,000 m³/h
- Modern self-cleaning filters that meet the most stringent requirements
- Innovative technology to ensure substantial savings on energy costs
- Emission levels less than 1 mg/m³
We have developed several dedusting systems according to the modular Kiekens K series, using the same shared components:
| Type | Application |
| DM800 and 1200 | For operations that require dust extraction in specific work spaces. |
| DM 8000 - DM9000 | Thanks to
their round and pressure-proof design, these Dustmasters
are ideal for the extraction of substances that involve a
high risk of explosion, in accordance with the ATEX
Directive. These systems are suitable for air volumes
from 500 to 25,000 m³/h.
Higher-capacity machines available on request. |
| DM4000 - DM5000 - DM6000 - DM7000 | The
rectangular models are intended for low and
medium-pressure ranges and air volumes from 500 to +/-
12,000 m³/h.
Higher-capacity machines available on request. |
| DM10000 | Laminate filter for extracting substances that are difficult to separate. |
| DM20000 | Filters for larger air volumes, for use in ATEX environments. |
After careful analysis of your needs, the modular package of fan, filter and dust collection components is used to select the right type of Dustmaster to eliminate your specific dust problem, both for continuous and intermittent use. Can be cleaned in various ways, depending on filter type and application. Also available with FCCU (Filter Condition Control Unit) controls.
Kiekens Dustmasters are available with the following types of filters:
- Compartment filter (fabric filter)
- Envelope filter (fabric filter)
- Cartridge filter
- Laminate filter.
Filter features:
- Antistatic
- Moisture and oil repellent
- Heat resistant
- Filter class up to H14 (substances that pose health hazards)
- Special surface treatment / coating
- Sintered laminate models.
Filter options
Kiekens Products offers a variety of filter options to fight dust problems.
The maximum allowable air flow and filter cloth
load depend, among other things, on the type and volume of dust.
The dust-polluted air flows into the advance
separator chamber, where relatively heavy dust particles are
recovered immediately. The remaining dust will settle on the
outside of the filter medium and fall into the dust tray.
The filter type can be adapted to any type of dust by selecting
compartment filters, envelope filters, cartridge filters,
laminate filters or sintered laminate filters.
The purification mechanism or compressed air cleaning mechanism can be operated manually or fully automatically. Kiekens purification systems are suitable for both continuous and intermittent applications.
Maximum filtration - the certainty of
clean air
High-quality main filters with a permeability grade of 0.5-0.1% ( i.e., an efficiency level of 99.5-99.9%) and very low-concentration residual emissions. In combination with the extremely durable secondary HEPA filters ('absolute filters'), the system offers up to 99,999% efficiency.
Efficient filter cleaning:
- Mechanically, using the original Kiekens system: powerful and secure
- Automatically, using an electric beating unit driven by pressure difference
- Driven by compressed air with an electronic control unit
Filters

The compartment filter (fabric filter) is especially suitable for low
dust loads and relatively large dust particles combined
with off-line cleaning. Application: These filters are used in the paper, cardboard, wood, metal and food industries. |

The envelope filter (fabric filter) is used in particular for
hooked or greasy, fine-grained substances. Thanks to the
space in between the envelopes, this filter can be
cleaned very efficiently and allows higher fabric loads.
Suitable for low dust loads and relatively large dust
particles combined with off-line cleaning. Application: These filters are used in the paper, cardboard, wood, metal and food industries. |
|
The cartridge filter is eminently suitable for non-stop use and for
the filtration of very fine-grained, sticky and hazardous
substances. Depending on the application, the cartridges
can be cleaned automatically with a pulse jet or with a
scavenging air (spindle) system (compressed air). Application: Suitable for non-stop use in the plastics, chemical, metal, pharmaceutical, food and stimulants industries. |

Laminate filters are designed to comply with the latest ATEX
regulations. Application: Laminate filters have been used succesfully for a long time in dedusting installations in the plastics, chemical, metal, pharmaceutical and food industries. |
Dust removal
Various different dust removal options are available, depending on the type of process or application:
- Large volume dust tray, capacity up to 212 litres
- Funnel with manually operated or self-unloading valve
- Rotating sluice for non-stop dust removal.
A new generation of filters
The Kiekens
Dustmaster 20000 is the next stage in industrial dedusting
technology. The compact filter consists of a series of highly
diverse filter surfaces.
- Ultra-high effiency filtration
- The components are accessible from the clean side and can be handled by one person
- The Delta filter has a top inlet to create a downward air flow, enhancing the cleansing effect of the filter components
- Emission <1 mg/m³/h, ook bij een deeltjesgrootte < 1 µ
- Fitted with FCCU (Filter Condition Control Unit).
Thanks to the modular construction, filter surfaces from 9 to 500 m² can be created, suitable for air flow volumes ranging from 500 to 50,000 m³/h.
